One of the most ambitious and evolving cities in the southeast, Medway combines its famous legacy with a fast-growing culture in the Continent up and coming. The name Medway derives from the beautiful stream that runs through it and consists of the three large cities of Rochester, Chatham and Gillingham. Each city has its own place in its own past and its own distinctive image - especially Rochester with its icons of fortress and church and links to Charles Dickens, and Chatham with its marine and defence fortifications.

For those who want to get a feeling for what was onboard! It shows the whole history of the shipyard. Admire an architectonic pleasure in the intermediate level and then discover on the groundfloor BIG objects from the Historical Shipyard and the Royal Engineering Museum.
