The Kahoolawe Island Reserve Commission Employment Opportunities

KIRC (Kaho?olawe Island Reserve Commission) is looking for a resourceful, technically savvy self-starter to join our side and help Kaho`olawe recover through his powerful communication abilities. We' re looking for a Public Information Specialist to help KIRC produce and administer contents for our many conventional means of communication (print, TV, radio) and for our various forms of communication.

It is important to have a sharp focus on designing and technically capable of designing publication, providing and coordinating updates of contents on various multimedia formats. This role is based at the KIRC in Maui, but may sometimes involve excursions to Kaho`olawe to support the group.

The KIRC is a state owned company with job advantages in line with state work. KIRC (Kaho?olawe Island Reserve Commission) is looking for a dedicated self-starter to join our staff and support the KIRC in the management of the Kaho?olawe Island Reserve's maritime assets through surveillance, research, training and implementation. We' re looking for an Ocean Resource Specialist II applicant who is able to lead several different teams at the same time, who is self-motivated, independent and part of a working group and who is able to work in close cooperation with different voluntary workers and those responsible for culture.
