Which part of Hawaii is best to see? I' ve never been to Hawaii before. I' m travelling with a 12-year-old guy who likes to do the shopping. Which part of Hawaii is best to see? You' re gonna like Hawaii! We hope you can remain long enough to see more than one of the island, as they all have their own unique beauties.
The Kauai would be the best place for tropic beauties, but not for the grocer. It' probably the best of both worlds..... to see wonderful places and great shops. Probably Oahu has the best places to shop, be it Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki or the Ala Moana Mall (alamoana.com), which is big enough to just shop there.

Dependent on how long you would stay, I would see the most important places of interest in Oahu (Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, the North Shore, the museum - even the Polynesian Cultural Center) and then go to one or two other islands.
