There are many advantages for members and associates from the North Island Credit Union and California Credit Union merger. While the cooperative is expanding, it remains open to members and co-workers. I' ve been an associate on North Island for over 11 years. Throughout this period I have worked directly for the top level managers in various divisions, under the direction of several different managers, and now 3 independent Chief Executive Officers.

During all the years I have worked for this organization, there has never been a better working climate, better financial sustainability or better leadership than today. Previously, career advancement did not depend on performance, but on who you were a friend to, which provided a disappointing working enviroment for good people.

And I believe this is obvious through the last accomplishment and the near end of this credit cooperative. This is also reflected in today's results, which come from satisfied and highly committed people ( "because they are successful and, above all, recognised for their accomplishments and, in some cases, encouraged). I have NOT been given promotion since our new Chief Executive Officer and our senior management came, but my input is acknowledged and I am valued by all levels below and above me.

I should not regard the fact that I am "NOT" supported as a grumbling, but to show that my image of this business is impartial and exclusively driven by working for a business that I am proud to call my work at home. Every company's succes begins at the top, in the management and on the management boards.

Your management seeps to the staff, who are the face of the enterprise. I am a proud face of this organization because I want to work for my managers, our leaders and our executive team. I would not be happy without the success of these management elements, because the approach mirrors the management.

After all, I often say that real guidance is not a privilege, but a responsibility that is, of course, given to an individuals or a group. And I believe that our management has deserved this name and that we have a brilliant tomorrow ahead of us. When I was there, great employees and teamwork culture.....

The North Island really does ensure that its staff are looked after. A good new management with excellent prospects. The continuous expansion of our credit portfolios has led to a certain backlog in our back offices.
