Accommodation Fiji Specials & Packages

Nearly all accommodations in Fiji are situated on a privately owned sandy shore and are usually considered as residential properties, regardless of the facilities, and this is true not only for the pricey but also for the inexpensive properties. The majority of the seaside resorts are situated in remote areas, often on small islets or in coves off the beaten track and have a very island atmosphere with all the facilities and comforts.

The only place where a hotel chain sits side by side is the commercialized island of Denarau in Nadi or to a smaller extent along the coral coast - here too there are no skyscrapers with nothing higher than the nearby palm cocos.

The most popular fashion boutiques on the Icelandic peninsula, they are charming and intimate, often welcoming only a handcuff. Food is usually limited to the main meal at the main restaurants and sight -seeing can be hard or costly if you are on a secluded isle. If you enjoy your free time, the continental areas of Nadi and the coral coast are better places to visit, as both have many of your businesses and attractions.

Though the bigger accommodations provide standard rooms, most resort offers "bure" (pronounced boo-ray) accommodation. The bureen is a detached, open cottage. They are modeled on the classic Fiji home to deal with local climatic conditions and have large slats to let the breezes through, high ceiling and thatched roof to provide plenty of space for outdoor aeration and normally do not require the use of A/C. The rooms are equipped with a shower and toilet.

In the more upscale resort, beautifully handcrafted fabrics with traditionally designed and decorated furniture, and in the cheaper resort they can be equated with a plain sponge bed, without power and shared bathroom. In some of the medium and large sized resort, a Boer is often an A-frame wood cottage, which is divided into two or four rooms and is called a double or four-bier.

Year after year, their innate charms bring holidaymakers back to Fiji.
