Which Island to go to in FijiWhat island should you go to in Fiji?
The best chances for good wheather are the island chain on the western (Nadi) side of Fiji - Mamanucas and Yasawas. You can' t buy other groceries in a shop or a café. It is not as famous for its amenities as Bali. In Nadi there are touristic stores, on the island there is usually a small shop area with sulu (sarongs), sometimes other clothes and toiletry, and usually the town will have a souvenir shop every year.
So I suggest you have a look at the Octopus and Blue Lagoon Beach Resorts web sites - they have great beach, great activity and very good cuisine.
The Denarau is the ideal starting point for your Fiji adventures. Denarau, with a unique world class dining ambience, is the place to get a sense of the Fiji way of being. Spoilt with a range of luxury, family-friendly resort facilities, you will really be spoilt by the unmatched Fiji host. Fijians are known for their soft and welcoming minds; when you step into their country, you are looked after as a group.
The majority of accommodations are all-inclusive and the resort has its own spectacular agenda, ranging from aquatic pursuits to culture shows and cuisines. Outside the resort there is a lot to do, too, making full days out to the remote outskirts is a must - many of the archipelago are deserted and you can have an eventful snorkel, dive and kayak out.
Explore Denarau: The Denarau is the ideal starting point for first-time travellers to Fiji, offering a good view of everything this lovely land has to show off, with cultural attractions, adventures, astonishing accommodation and breathtaking landscapes.
