Spectacular: tortoises, great naval life......Diving environment: current dives, beginners dives..... Fiji's most famous dive destination, once called "The Mecca of Pacific Diving", is located just to the South of Viti Levu, Fiji's major island, where Fiji receives major air traffic. Although it can be said that Beqa Island is not the best dive in Fiji, it is one of the best in Viti Levu and many happy people come back year after year.

One should not await the diversity or abundance of marine species found in Nigali or the Nama Sea coral in the Koro Sea, but there are a number of marine species, among them a large number of species of marine species such as shark, squid and squid, as well as some giant fan formations and wholesome squids.

It is a 100 sq. m. of clear and clear waters encircled by 30 km of shelters. It is one of the biggest barriere cliffs in the whole wide area. (read more about the Fiji sea corals). Due to this geographic situation, you will find that the sea remains at 26°C for most of the year and there are only soft current in the Beqa Laguna.

A US diving journal once named this site "The Mecca of Pacific Diving", although it is hard to believe that this is still so. The bigger attractions here that you can enjoy even more are small tunnel fish courses, the chance that a tortoise will pass by and, if you are very fortunate, one or two of them could fly by in grace.

No matter what unpredictable visibility you have here at Caesar's Rocks, this is one of the best Beqa diving spots and should be enough to cause a lot of heated gossip on the kay. While you are moving through the shipwreck, you will see that it is clad with encrusted fungi and coral.

Lionfishes (often quite big), which move slow in the protected areas of the vessel, are spread their beautiful but perilous stingrays. Just a few puddles from the shipwreck is the face, which is part of the major coral encounter where the study reward is abundant.

Hartkorallen, Weichkorallen and Fächer sprenkeln this Reiff. Nosy bat fish are also known to circulate near a diver, so don't worry if one comes right in front of your helmet. The many and diversified dragonheads - in and around this coral canyon - are also interesting. They are floating passive with the motion of the waters.

Leaffishes are widespread throughout the entire area. Naturally, the name of the site relates to the carpets of Anemon trees in the flatter parts of the site, so it is no wonder that many anemonefish call their home carpets Cove. A huge passageway is the key characteristic of this Beqa Lake diving, which is crossed in 2 separated rooms.

While you' re driving here, the wall is littered with hard coral, lake fan, coral cups and almost any other kind of seductive vegetation you can name. They also cannot see the inhabitants of this naval system like the sporadic Nymphs or the smaller Snails, Lesser Lionfishes.

It is a bitter-sweet time to come to the top after scuba dipping, because you will wish you could remain and continue exploring the passage. Talking after the Beqa Island Dives is mostly about returning to the place E.T., which could also represent Extraordinary Tunnel. If there is little or no flow, one drops to about 14 meters and sets off over a crinoid, lash and bladder-shaped back of reefs.

There' are many big Gorgonia enthusiasts here and a place in the dives sees a small canal between 2 burrs filled with big people. Not surprisingly, the commercial is known as Big Fan Alley. Ventilators are growing from both sides of the duct and some have an impressing wingspan.

Beqa' s eel are less hesitant than those in other areas and often crouch only at the last minute of their arrival. Along the way along the sound coastline there is a remarkable amount of marine entertainment, which includes lionfishes, both twins and clear fins, as well as nudibranches and various slugs.

At the end of this dives you will find yourself at an altitude of about 5 meters on a peak that is full of activity. While you are emptying your cuttlefish and descending into the clear water of Beqa, look out for things passing under your flippers, as you may see one of the many often seen octopuses here that move across the shore before you seek protection when the view of you approaches.

You' ll then dive softly over and around the coral wall, between burrs and little bogeys; while you adorn the fan, coral and crinoid, which make them available in a wide range of colors, among them brilliant amber, oranges and rose and mauve. The site is often limited to experienced diver, but it is up to your guide to decide the fitness for you.

It will be a truly exciting experience when you descend to this sunken mountain of the ocean, which is shaped like a fungus clouds, as there is a large incision that is narrowed around the 25-metre high. It has many interesting characteristics in the form of rigid and flexible coral, but not more spectecular than elsewhere.

This is not to admire the summit itself, but to look out of it into the sea to have the opportunity of a great sight. Many gray coral corals are almost certain, but in addition there are hammerheads, nurse shares, little stingrays and maybe one or two tigersharks and you can see why this site on Beqa Island has the call it has.

As one of Fiji's best places for diving pelagics, a prolific diving here can contain an astonishing listing of big shots of big ones and the kind of big photos of them that will surprise your family. Usually the submersible will dock at the south bommies where you start and end the diving.

They also have a large number of coral tables, especially on the flat parts of the coral booms, which require a lot of sunshine for photo-synthesis, and large gorgonians, which are home to a wide variety of different game. There is a good opportunity to see some great macros like colorful slugs and different size kites, but you will also see tons of Antias and butterflyfishes, especially Pacific twin-rumped butterflyfishes floating around the fishwatch.

In Beqa, buzzards are very widespread and you can take a picture of them lying on the corals, but be sure not to get too near them and put them off. The long-nose perches are more hard to recognize. It is a good practice to keep an eye on the seabed during the dives as the site is not far from the feed station and you can see a white tip sharks on the sands.

At the top of the pit, the top of the pit is the ideal place for your security stop, as it is only 5m below the ground. Because of the low water level the site is the ideal third best diving of the days after the 2 Pacific Harbour sharks. It is also a good place for those who learn to scuba diving on Beqa Island.

In both cases the travelling time to the divesites is approximately the same. Whoever dives here has almost certainly the opportunity to participate in the intoxicating sharks food in Pacific Harbour. All year round you can go underwater in Beqa Laguna, although the weather is different. As a rule, the tranquil, sheltered water bodies of the Laguna should lead to quiet superficial relations, although a slight swelling of the surfaces may occur from November to January.

Wild Fishes, such as Red Sea Dragonfish, Red Sea Dragonfish, Red Sea Dragonfish and Red Sea Dragonfish, are the most abundant in the time from July to August.
