Southsea cruises, half and full day excursions

The South Sea Cruise (usually shortened to SSC) is a long-established enterprise that makes day trips to the South Sea Isle and others. Tiger IV, AKA "the whiteboat " is a common view in the water around the Mamanucas, and besides carrying people to their islands resort, it also carries day trips to a wide range of trips to the islet.

Some of these trips are only on the boat (you don't get off anywhere, which in our view is quite pointless), but most of them stop at one of the islands, stay there for several long hrs and then collect you for the trip back to Denarau. Great rates & all-day, all-day South Sea cruise tours to the islands with South Seas, Beachcomber, Mana, Castaway & Barefoot Kauta Islands.....

Things we like about these day trips..... They are a good way to see some of the Mamanuca Islands if you live on the continent. The rates are quite low and you can use the amenities of the insular hotel. You will also be picked up from Coral Coast Estates, but only if you have reserved a full day excursion.

Which we do NOT like at these day trips..... On these day trips you take the Tiger IV scheduled boat, which serves all Mamanuca Islands and destinations. This means that you are not going directly to your final destinations (unless your final destinations are the nearest, the South Seas Island).

However, much of it is used on board the ship to drop off customers in their insular resort. See more activities in Fiji..... To Fiji travel guide.....
