Carolines is often called " the small mountain retreat ". There are only 8 privately owned cottages on a remote hillside with views of the wonderful Philippine Sea. A breathtaking sundown on your terrace with a view of the splendid rocky islands of Palau is waiting for you at the end of the workday.

Carolines is the most beautiful place in Koror. Each room is a handmade bungalow. Each bungalow is based on typical Palau style architectural style and uses the best material such as locally grown trees, mangroves, mahogany mosaics. This bungalow may seem rural, but it has all the facilities you would want from most hotels: A/C, TV and video, fridge, minibar and en-suite bathroom.

Every chalet has its own balkony, so that you can admire a breathtaking panorama from your chalet. There is no pools and no restaurants. Caroline visitors can, however, buy a daily ticket to the Palau Pacific Estate with easy acces to the sand beaches and amenities. There is a shuttleshuttle service to a near public indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor sports centres and indoor pools.

Pacific Treasures has many fine dresses for men, ladies and kids as well as many crafts such as handwoven basket, hand-carved box, mask, stone statuettes, marbles, original ceramics vase, golden and silvery ornament. The lists go on and on. Carolines does not have broadband connection.

Web and e-mail is widely available in the centre of Koror. Some of the bungalow's are a little too far from the front desk and the way is also quite rocket. Almost all activity from the hotels usually requires a cab; this is the case for the daily dinner, but also for a trip to the Palau Pacific Resort.

There is a nice sea breezes when you come back from the day's activity just in advance to observe the sundown from your shed. We' re one of the few resort that can say you can enjoy sitting on your own balconies every night of the year and watching the sun set as long as nature allows.

All our employees are committed to making your visit to Palau as pleasant as possible. Guesthouses have entrance to the only privately owned sandy area in Koror. All our lovely chalets are based on the typical palau style architect. Every cottage has its own terrace, ideal for you to enjoy our stunning views, read a good read, have a good conversation or a drink of good wines while you enjoy a fantastic sundown from your cottage.

While our cottages may look rustically from the outside, each cottage is fitted with A/C, TV and video, fridge, mini-bar and en-suite facilities; all the amenities you would want from a holiday destination.
