The Garden Island Resort, established in 1971, is the oldest and biggest resort with 30 rooms on the wonderful island of Taveuni..... Today owning the Garden Island Resort, the Morais familiy has a strong connection with Fiji and has been a frequent visitor to the resort for the past 30 years and is able to provide one of the highest levels of luxurious and services on the island.

The Garden Island Resort is divided into 30 luxurious suite with 15 x sea view suite and 15 x sea front suite with spas. In Waiyevo, in the center of Taveuni, near the pier and all important facilities such as hospitals, law enforcement, etc. A trip from the Wairiki boat costs about FJ$5 and takes about 5 mins.

BY BUS: The journey by shuttle from Wairiki costs about FJ$1, from Matei International about FJ$3,50 and takes about 30min.
