Ferry Kingfisher Bay - Fraser Island Ferry

Kingfisher Bay Ferry has three round trips departing from River Heads (20 min from Hervey Bay south) every day and landing at Kingfisher Bay Resort on the west side of Fraser Island. TIP: Please allow additional construction site travel arrangements. Coming from Boat Harbour Drive, at the traffic circle near Urangan Woolworth, turn onto Elizabeth Street and continue along this street past the Aiport.

At MaryboroughFrom Maryborough, take Maryborough-Hervey Bay Rd and take the Boral Rd junction at the large traffic circle. Drive until you see the signs to River Heads Rd (on the right). Stay on this street until you reach the ferry dock. When you don't want to use eNavigation, you can get a printable map and select the best itinerary for your journey with River Heads Google Maps.

Tides can be download from the Bureau of Meteorology website (use Urangan for westerly tides and Waddy Point for westerly seas. departures from River Heads daily: 21.30 hrs from River Heads is no longer in operation. Tickets can be picked up at the ferry hut next to the ferry dock.
