and we took the cave trip that Bill was leading. And he took the liberty of talking to everyone on the road. That was on my road, especially the second part of the roadshow. Most of the remainder of the fortress is free and it's a big place.

Arriving long before the 2 o'clock trip through the fortress, we went along the top of the fortress, which seemed to be a long way off! Visiting the galleries was better than anticipated. It was a long and intriguing journey through the city. Admission is low (for the guided tours of the tunnel) and parking is free, which is even more desirable for a pleasant stop.

That was no problem, I just wanted to have a glass of freshly brewed drinking mains running hot because I had my daily dairy supplement and that was no problem either. Well-designed Fort Amherst family-friendly, food-safe and secure outdoor dining area for them.

The Chatham is a small township in the Rock River Township of Alger County, Michigan. You can reach the hamlet at 46°20?? 86°55?W?W / 46. Sutherland Innis was renamed after Chatham, Ontario, Canada, the city where the timber firm Sutherland Innis was based. In the 2010 census[2] 220 persons, 97 homes and 61 homes lived in the area.

It had 120 residential areas with an avarage occupancy of 49.0 per sq. m. (18.9/km2). His race in the town was 88. They had an avarage domestic population of 2.27 and an avarage domestic population of 2.85. There was an annual population of 44 years. There were 49 women in the population.

In the 2000 census[4], 231 persons, 98 homes and 64 homes lived in the town. It had 116 residential areas with an median densities of 44.0 per sq. m. (17.0/km²). There were 94 races in the town. Averages of 2.36 and 2.92 for the whole population.

There were 24 people in the town. Mean average was 41 years. Mean earnings for a home in the community were $31,406 and mean earnings for a host families were $37,188. Men had an average salary of $28,125 compared to $19,375 for women. Per capita earnings for the town were $14,266.

Chatham's first settlers arrived in 1896 when the Munising Railway Companies (later Lake Superior and Ishpeming) built a line through the city. Railway and Sutherland Innis plated a small settlement where the railway crossed the citieship highway. Timber felling was the most important business in the region during the latter part of the nineteenth and early twentieth century, with Sutherland Innis, Cleveland-Cliffs Iron Company, Northwestern Cooperage and Law Firm (Buckeye Company) and T.G. Sullivan having warehouses throughout the region.

Chatham and its surroundings offer a wide range of leisure activities. A large snow-scooter path (Trail 8 ) leads along the old Soo Line railway line just south of the town. Chatham Ski Hill is situated northeastern of the town near Pine Grove Cemetery and offers ski and cross-country touring.

Eben Eishöhle is a favourite excursion spot in the neighbouring Eben Junction municipality and offers scenic icy outcrops. Chatham area is also home to a wide range of creeks, waterways and ponds of interest to canoers, kayakers and fishers. It is also situated near an outstanding state owned game area.

Chatham hosts the yearly Alger County Fair and Home Coming celebrations every year.
