This book is a collection of four stories based on Space Marine vs. Battlefleet Gothic: Dew have nearby forerunner technology and would shoot the yoink out of anything new boxed game: Raven Guard against Tau. The new Codex TAU ("Farsigth Enclaves") against Space Marines ("Iron Hands").

Default Space Marine vs. Tau entities?

They are essentially weak plasm guns that have been developed for dependability and their outstanding capability (for 40k plasm weapons) not to explode in the user's hand. Even space marines don't make fun of nuclear radiation. Admittedly, heart rate guns are much fainter than the regular plasm gun, but even a Space Marine will go down after a few goals.

Of course, it is unlikely that a Firewarrior and so on will get a boulder shot, but they surpass the Space Marines. In all the above situations, if they take off from any direction, the dew will win. The Navy will obviously win if they leave at an acidic range.

All in all, the best navy for the fight against Tau is the attack navy, or better said, someone who penetrates deeply into its line and does not even have to run the gauntlet. All in all, the best navy for the fight against Tau is the attack navy.

Remember that their guns are mainly on the main bowling alley, accompany them with your quicker vessels if possible, and prepare for the collision when they are focusing the fire. Manoeuvre to the sides and behind their vessels as soon as you are in reach. Help tremendously with flying escort, as well as the Tau's seaer rocket spams is pretty mighty if you're not careful.
