Expedition Lahaina/Lanai Passenger Ferry

Expedition Lahaina or the Lanai Passenger Ferry offers transport from Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii to Lana'I and Lanai isles. Expedition has been in the shop for 15 years and offers transport for locals and tourists. Onboard you can admire the view of Maui, Lanai, Molokai and Kahoolawe. You can even see the big island Hawaii on clear skies.

From January to April there are a large number of Humpbacks in the water of Hawaii. It' possible to split a part of your trip between the island. According to the visitors' needs, an expedition can even help to arrange an accommodation on one of the isles.

Ferry leaves Lahaina at 6:45, 9:15, 12:45, 15:15 and 17:45. Depart Lanai: 8, 10:30, 2, 16:30 and 18:45. It is a one-way fare, so it is twice as much to return to Lahaina if this is the initial stop. This ferry is connected to some of our hotel's to provide cheap accommodation or gulf.

Hawaii's Maui-Lanai ferry adventure is unique

Between the nineteenth and fifties, the most important transport routes between the islands of Hawaii were privately owned steamers and ferryboats. Today there is only one ferry from Hawaii between the islands: the Maui-Lanai Passenger Ferry. Maui Lanai passenger ferry leaves Lahaina outside the Pioneer Inn at 6:45, 9:15, 12:45, 15:15 and 17:45. The ferry leaves Lanai at the port of Manele at 8:00, 10:30, 14:00, 16:30 and 18:45, ferry guests must arrive 30 min before their board.
