When you can move away from the luxury resort we've all booked into, our first overnight stay in Koh Samui will be a group experience of the vibrant Chaweng Beach nocturnality.

Being in Samui for two whole day means a lot of getting to know the place - and we don't just say that metaphorically. Mangoteen & Rambutane straight from the trees, Panang Curry & Limette Panang Curry & Marigold are just some of the tastes that pamper your mouth, amidst sea swimming pools and island spotlight.

However, if you have a penchant for adventures, this beautiful island has a lot to offer to delight starving discoverers. Visiting the powerful Wat Phra Yai with its 15 meter high gold Buddha sculpture, see the mutilated friar in Wat Khunaram, or admire the grandmother & grandfather's rugged nature on our Samui Island tour highlight.

We exchange one oceans heaven for another by leaving Koh Samui and sailing the Gulf of Thailand to Koh Tao. Ah, the Kohs is Thai for island, if you haven't already known it. We have an orienteering stroll and a meal on the shore to get into the mood of the Tao and start our time there.

Take a nap and ask your trekking guide about the island's hiding places - you may even be fortunate enough to see a mighty whale shark. Overland, the island's rolling countryside offers many beautiful walking paths and sparkling falls, year-round. Over or under the surface, the island is yours and will fill you with joy.

We' re leaving for Koh Pha Ngan this afternoons. The Koh Pha Ngan is surrounded by pristine sandy areas that provide never-ending island pleasures. Take a nap and set off on an island adventurous trip or drive to Haad Yao, one of our favourite spots, for some ocean and sundown.

It' s the penultimate days of our island adventures and'mai pen rai - don't be afraid, be happy' is the group mindset now. Take in the last few surges of Koh Pha Ngan before taking the boat back to Koh Samui, where it all started.

We will return to Samui, equipped with a view of Zeng and a rucksack full of unbelievable new recollections. Goodbye to your new wolves and make a plan for a revisit to alleviate the grief - not to forget that there is another set of Thailand isles just awaiting to be sighted.
