This is a part of the National Force of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. AMV bought 24 Su-30 Su-30s from Russia in July 2006 as a consequence of the American F-16 parts embargo[5] In 2008 Venezuela was notified of a possible purchase of a number of Su-35 combat aircrafts and a second series of 12-24 Su-30s from Russia[6][7] It did not go ahead.
