Marvellous place; great folks - a look back at Paradise Taveuni, Taveuni Island, Fiji

Everyone works VERY harshly to make your journey something really unique. During the 10 days dive we made 24 logged trips (3 dives/day). On the Rainbow Reef the reef is beautiful. The Rainbow Reef area can have powerful current. On several occasions we were sitting on the ship and waited for the calm or moved to a simpler place.

Two times during our sojourn we did 3 tanks diving, all at Rainbow Red with lunches on a remote beacht. For the remainder of the day we did 2 mornings and 1 afternoons diving at Vula Wall or off the coast of Taveuni.

Though we have seen several mantas, a serpent elder, barracudas and clownfish, these areas have suffered considerable damages from the typhoon. Until the checkout date, I would jump over the shore and scuba until Mother Nature can do more mending. During my first journey to paradise Taveuni I made better use of the free activites and I wish for this one.

And we remained in a beautiful little boo-boo. Boers by the sea have the same lay-out, only with a better outlook. It is my comprehension that Vales were the best biters, but this may have altered after the remodeling. In January we remained, which was very hot, so the new air conditioners were very well-received.

Eventually we decided for the'Divers Meal Package' to order the breakfast with at least 5 choices/day that have change during the course of the weeks. That was my favourite dish, but there were also very beautiful seafood meals. We were very satisfied with our stay in a Tropical Bure.
