Taveuni by local transport is the simplest and least expensive way to see Taveuni. As a rule, however, busses only run three days a week (except Sundays), which can often lead to discomfort if you miss your time. Coaches are the open coaches in Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.
It can take up to 4-5 hrs by coach if you are fortunate enough to be able to combine the two coaches.

NAQUARA Consultation Schedule
Naqara Consultation Plans contain guidelines and recommendations as well as a useful tool for designing and implementing Cadvisory Design Criteria for the German Technical University (DTCP), which helps to identify pattern of developments within the area under investigation as it is under municipal pressures. Naqara Advice Area is expected to become a city in the not too far away past, so the advice scheme could be used as a predecessor to an Urban Design Scheme.
Naqara LAAP, consisting of building codes, policies and advice, is designed exclusively to steer developments and make sure that further natural and economic developments continue to be commercially and ecologically viable, taking into account the areas where such developments have significant and potentially significant impacts. As a result, the resulting Municipal Area Advisory Plan will lead the municipality and the department in making further landmanagement and developement choices in the area.
