The New Georgia Camp ign was a run of the Pacific War II campaigns between the Allies and the Empire of Japan. This was part of Operation Cartwheel, the South Pacific ally' s strategic plan. From 20 June to 7 October 1943, the Rosary campaign took place in the New Georgia archipelago in the Solomon Islands.
