Germany's automotive sector is world-famous with its Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen global carmakers. It is a major driver of the country's exports as well. We have a keen emphasis on designing and our faculty all worked in academia before coming to school. Our work with the automotive industrie provides practical courses of study, insights into the latest trends in the markets and outstanding job prospects.

Every year in the spring term (March - July), our English language courses provide our partners' student exchanges with an overview of the automotive engineering industry in Germany: For more information on the contents of the courses, please refer to the manual of the modules. PLEASE NOTE: Foreign language course participants with B.2 level English can also take other courses in our Automotive Engineering course of study.

Lectures from the fields of aerospace engineering, machine construction and information technology (all lectures of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science) can also be attended if the lecturing times and capacities permit.

This is a 120-unit course of study organized by the University of Antwerp and 3 associated universities: University of Loughborough (UK), University of Deusto (Spain) and University of Bordeaux (France). In the first year, three terms, two out of 21 and one out of 18 European Courses.

During the second year, the student completes an apprenticeship and completes their studies with a dissertation. Want more information about this program? They will be able to successfully take on leadership or engineering roles in various areas of automotive engineering, covering automotive engineering, driving behavior and manipulation, drivetrain design and engineering, and electrical and hybrids engineering. In addition, the research competencies acquired during the program will help students in preparing for possibilities in the field of advance research, such as MPhil and PhD.

They require an educational Bachelor's qualification of at least 180 CETS in the fields of automotive engineering, machine construction, electromechanics, electronics/ICT with a focus on automotive engineering, electronic and automated systems, industry engineering, business engineering and management, as well as in the field of ITC. You can already submit your application in the last year of your university studies.
