Yasawas and the MamanucasThe Mamanukas and Yasawas
Mamanuca Islands - Fiji Message Board
I' m going to dive, relax on the shore. Many of Manamanuca's have beautiful sandy shores, but the Yasawas are all sandy whites. Several of Fiji's best dive sites are located on the Great Astrolabe Reef, which lies around the island of Kadavu just to the south of Fiji. Thinly I would select the Mamanucas to see more diversity of the dive and more.
Mamanucas are easily accessible, i.e. no inland flights are necessary; most isles have dives on site. If we do not comply with our policies, we will delete any postings and we retain the right to delete postings for any cause.
Yesava/Mamanuca - Can't choose which + How do I prevent the Yesava flyers?
Browse a very long period of the site through many articles, and as many critiques back to travel consultants & personal resorts sites & really struggle. Both of us want to go to some isles in the Mamanuca/Yasawa group during the period we have, but the critics are bound to be very miscellaneous - are there any deal!
We' re backpackers (still backpackers in the heart!) who don't care about luxuries, but want a tidy cot, good companionship (no islands full of honeymoons and child-contaminated pool ), a good snorkeling & a good blanket. As we are there for such a brief time, the yeasawa flier seems very expensive.
Can we simply hop on a low-cost domestic ferry to a beautiful little village on a beautiful little beach and reserve ouraccommodation? Can I get to the Qasawa if they are not on the leaflet? While I am sure that there are regularly scheduled ferries to and from the shore - what are the connections between the isles?
Would it be possible to stay half of our days on a mannauca isle, the other half on Yasawa (would adore mantas) and then go back to the continent and not pay a small sum for the flier?
