Traditional Culture Festival, Micronesia

1 and 2 March 2019, is the next Yapay, the island season to commemorate everything of the island of Japese - civilization, traditions, food, home, fellowship..... and underwater. It is the most colourful outing of the year with folk dancing, handicrafts, tattooing, contests and shows in ceramic clothes. The Yap is an inviting festival and conservation ceremonies for outcasts.

Dancing, coir shells, walnut crawling and weave are some of the tradition competitions. Shows cover folk clothing, canoeing, making ropes, netting, rafting, as well as grasskirt, coffee, basketry, rafting and raftery. On the same days you can take a look at the Yap civilization, the story, the people, some interesting facts about stony cash, eating and drinking, many pictures and buy a few old handicrafts.

The ceremonials open with a series of folk dancing and last until the night that featured a men's fire dancing in 2015. Tradicional clothes, festive clothes, jewellery, arts and handicrafts are presented and can be bought by the participant towns, organisations, colleges and family. There are a number of folk and folk dancing during the days and afternoons.
