World at War 2 revelation comes in May
As Sledgehammer Games continued to sponsor last year's Call of Duties, which put the show back on a more appropriate track, mumbling about Activision has already begun among first-person shooter supporters working on a continuation of the 2008 Call of Duty: World at War, one of the most celebrated videogames in the show, which is focused on World War II-wars.
Following several rumours and informal confirmation, an ostensible advertising billboard has seeped through on-line, unveiling that Call of Duty: World at War 2 will be revealed to the public on May 4. Having enjoyed futurist combat with progressive weapons and exosuit, Activision may be looking to bring the supporters back to the origins of the franchise with a videogame track from World War II.
Rumours about Call of Duty: World at War 2, a continuation of the fifth major instalment in the show and the last World War-based videogame in Call of Duties deductions, have been on the street for quite some time, and if the last leaky promotional posting is to be expected, we will have to sit back for quite some time to see the first real recordings of the match on Microsoft's Xbox One consoles.
One of the biggest and most importantly, the unidentified Tippster TV tweets an ostensible billboard that reveals that Call of Duty: World at War 2, just as many had forecast, will be this year's rate in the Call of Duty franchise, and the match will be revealed to the public on May 4, 2015 at 10am PDT/1PM EDT. Only to put this in the right light, on May 1 last year the supporters got a first look at Kevin Spacey's roguish part in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
Feel free to view the leaky promotional posters below. Of course, it comes with the Xbox label because Activision and Microsoft's long-term contract puts Call of Duty contents at the top of the Xbox console list. One more good excuse to believe in Call of Duty: World at War 2 is that, as many know, the first persons shooters videogame franchise follows an annual design cylce.
That means that Treyarch, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games will take over the next tranche of the franchise each year to meet the company's yearly publication plan without slowing or limiting timeline. Sledgehammer Games has been developing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare since 2014, this year's game has been released by Treyarch, the creator behind the game.
Now, that the Latin number "II" could be chosen as an indication of another continuation, such as Ryse 2, but the translation of the embassy fits exactly with what the above divided, leaky advertising billboard says. If the Morse Code on the picture is converted into the same date and hour as the supposed Call of Duty: World at War 2 Promotional Posters, it cannot be free.
In addition, in May, Activa will be happy to show new titles in its old first-person shooting range. Following the leak of the supposed promotional posting and the unveiling date of Call of Duty: World at War 2, the unidentified Tippster has again twittered the same picture and said that if he gets a certain number of reweets, the first public movie of the match will be trickled out on-line.
In spite of some very compelling facts and leakages, this year's Call of Duties track still puzzles, as Activision or Treyarch, both have not yet formally talked about the match, so all we can do is sit back and watch an offical world roll over Call of Duty: World at War 2.
