13 May 2014, 21:48. This cascade does not even existed on Bora Bora. Haifischfütterung seems to have been shot there, although it's not like the film did, and some of the resorts own footage (arrival scenery, yogascene and bungalows) was shot there.

Diving in Bora Bora Bora Bora
They can see some 70 ft. of corals in color purple and white. There are many strange fishes here. This is an extraordinarily nice diving for its sealife. Blacktips, lemon and grey shark. Swarms of whitefish, triggerfishes and a variety of different game. Suggested for a current diving. Situated on the western shore near our diving center, it is certainly one of the best diving sites for beginners.
A ring of corals is the perfect entry into the first few divers. The area is visited by several hundred colorful tropic species and "play" with their guests. There are 3 shipwrecks serving as man-made corals to this area: one Cessna (16 ft long) and 2 canoes. Situated on the eastern shore of Tahiti, the site is a wonderful underwater cavern at a deep of about 100ft.
There is a 15 foot walk to the top of the island where you will find various types of crabs and seaweed. "Dad Whisky" is the name of the small man-made island next to the Faa'a International Airfield. In fact, it is the rim of a huge 230-foot long amphitheater caused by the breakdown of part of an underwater platform.
There are 2 exploratory dives possible; one over the southerly end of the stadium and the other over the northerly point. This voyage on the southside is a nice geographic mistake that' s clouded with gorgonians. Nordpunkt is also abundant in gorgonians, although there are groups of purple corals.
Sight is often magnificent from 150-200 ft, where the sea becomes a steep rock face. You will notice that the corals are even larger and denser at this deep. You' ll find a gorgeous plateaus of corals. There' s also a reindeer barrage where you can see morays, blacktip and whitetip shark and other sea creatures.
Because of the amazing tortoises you can see, the diving takes its name. You will appreciate the steep slope around the course, which is populated by sea corals. This spring rises from a depth of 15 - 20 ft below the ground. Across the spring, you can go down to 70ft. It' quite possible to meet shark or at nights humphead Maori wrasse.
On both sides of the mountains there are nice dales that lie along the coastline. Celebrate the extraordinary views of the sea gardens where all kinds of sea life takes place. You' re surrounded by whitetharks, barracuda, moray-eel. This site provides the possibility to "bait" a shark. Spend some of your free day exploring the area and be surprised by the fishing.
Situated on the western shore near Paea, it takes its name from a rooftop clad in stunning Gorgonic corals. They can meet silky shark hiding in the mistakes. You will be able to discover the wreckage of an airplane and an old ship, one of the last relicts of inter-island transport in recent years.
They can even go safe through the harbour on the lefthand side of the hull (less than 50 ft deep) or through the hatch. Somewhat further is the protector, which is still regarded as a nice woodwork. If you are lucky you can see up to 7 species of Emperor Angel Fishes during a single one.
We may have a little tide, but the riff breach is a little lower. A lot of migrating pelagic species move from one side of the island to the other and cross this area. Rays Corridor Diver is a fresh-up and beginner level pool-diver. This is a place of nice corals with a variety of marine life.
The majority of scuba diving enthusiasts meet with whitetip shark and a group of little stingrays (sometimes more than 40). This is a very particular one. Continue to a long 1.5 to 2 mile long current diving on a blank sand side following the pristine canal.
Let yourself be carried away by the currents and savour the steep slope of the wall of the corals. Watch out for shoals of whitetip shark and starfish that remain concealed in deep caverns or simply lie in the sands. You will end the day on a reefs' reef tables amidst the corals and bottom people.
On board, the show begins with the best views of "the most beautyful island in the world". One time in the sea, you will find a very unique diving for this island, with great wall corals and gorges. There are several diving sites in the same area: you can go deep into the "small (coral) ros garden", a unique type of wall.
And the third ends near the sharks' dinning room. During all the diving you meet tortoises, shark and tropic fishing and probably some giant morays before you go from one channel to the other and are surrounded by clear sands. It is an excellent "first seabed dive" - flat and simple.
You' ll see shark (black tips), our girlfriend Janine, a nice tortoise, octopus and many tropic fishwatch. You must have a lifeguard to gain entry and have made at least one earlierive. The" roses", the big shark and the very particular underwater ambience are spectaculare.... After this diving, a 24 hour surfacing period before an outward trip is required.
Entrance to this tour is subject to the permission of the diving master and depends on the booking. At the bottom of the small channel you can see many small sea animals, blacktip shark and of course enormous freshwater shark. Usually at the end of the dives, just before the security stop, we stop to see beautiful clownfish and anemone.

Tetiaroa diving bookings are only possible at preferential conditions at the hotels acierge. You will reach the 65 foot deep diving spot after 20 min by ferry. There is a labyrinth of gorges opening the top - full of corals. This site is home to many tropic species that profit from the countercurrent of the "false pass".
Is called a fake passport because there is no opening in the canyon. In the course of the dives you become a viewer in this submerged maze, which provides a wonderful shop window landscape. Speckled stingrays, Whitetip shark, Hunchback wrasse and barracuda are part of the landscape. It is full of small semicircular fishes on the sand bottom.
The site is often home to many hawkbills and sea turtles, which come to eat and relax - a true nature experience for scuba diver. It is speckled with a multitude of reefs, which are home to a multitude of different types of game. Then, you' ll explore a 26 foot deep reef face.
Adventure Reef: Little Passport (drift dive): The ideal route is to start from the centre of the mountain range and head towards a small mountain range between the two islands. During the whole dives you will see different types of shares like the blackfin-shai ( "Carcharhinus limbatus") or even the whitetip-shark ("Triaenoden obesus"), which rests along the small hollows of the walls, as well as a variety of types of fish: grouper, morays and scorpionfish.
It ends in the tranquil water of the lake between the fishing and wonderful corals. It is suitable for all divers, especially those with actual scuba skills. Max depht is 65ft. It is a particularly quiet and steady course with an inflowing stream for best view.
There you will be drifting into an submarine basin, where you will find a barrier with beautiful rock formation that is home to a multitude of water creatures: unicorn fish, surgeon fish, snapper and fusilier. This underwater voyage ends on the sandy dune, which is interrupted by many small creatures: nudibranchs, morays, snapper, groupers, kingfishers, whitetip and blacktip shark.
The site is open to all divers with a minimal level of diver knowledge. The max. deep is about 60ft. Leaving the Tiputa Mountain Passport from the lefthand side, you will see a beautiful 50 foot deep reefs. The dropoff comes quite abrupt from 65 ft and offers a straight look into the big shade of blues.
Myripris is the name of the countless soldierfishes that inhabit this sanddis. Directly at the end of the mountain passes, you will also find clownfish with their tenants, many corals, jagged perches and according to the season: a grey shower tree school, white tip shares, stingrays.... a very nice sea ambience.
Diving is open to all stages of certifications. There may be constant movement from large schoolings of paddle tail snipers and from large-eyed scad watching, according to the season, to keep away from their likely carnivores such as boys, Napoleonic wrasse, dog-tooth tunas and shark. During the whole dives staying in the dark blues can put you in touch with a flight of barracuda, dolphin or maybe even a sail fish.
You can see a large number of dormant gray shark much nearer to the seabed. These dives are likely to meet currents, so an experience, certificated certification is necessary. As you descend into the blueness of Tiputa you will see numerous sea creatures out of nowhere. You' ll find barracuda, jack fish, tuna, gray shark, silvertip shark, silk shark and even porpoise.
In order to really experience this dives, which take place in the dark blues of the coastline, a good handling of the floatation is necessary. There is an astonishing diving topography: the stage, the cannyons and the Motu Nuhi Nuhi. Please be aware that good lift management is the keys to this current diving.
In addition, you will receive the best possible advice on how to achieve this. Situated on the inside of the Tiputa mountain range, it is open to the inflowing flow during a trickle-diving. A lot of migratory species find shelter in the streams that cross these faults: swarms of surgeonfishes, white tip shark, napoleonfish and in the small crevasses the small soldierfishes.
The underwater scenery offers a transient shelter from the thundering streams and an important crossroads for many interesting sea creatures such as dolphins and mantas. Motu Nuhi Nuhi is a small island of corals in the Laguna along the Tiputa-Passes.
You' ll see a wonderful reef gardens and a wide range of colourful species of seawater. At the end of the trickle-diving tour, the eastern side of the Motu is in the Tiputa-Class. This is a flat area where the divers, supported by the currents, can observe a large number of freshwater species and end their dives by gliding over a sand bottom with crests.
Depths from 35 - 165ft. It is a shallow cliff face diving, interrupted by fault lines and cliff sides, lined with tender twigs of stylaster corals in violet and orange. 2.5km long. Each of these caverns is home to many kinds of freshwater and freshwater sharks, scalars, surgeon sharks, parrotfishes, and perhaps you will encounter a huge sea bass... The waters are clear and azure.
You will see scad, tuna, shark, grey or Whitetip shark as accidental meetings. We have the magnificent 65 foot level before we reach the edge to the south. Fewer than OHUTU, we can experience this dives for its environment and unforeseen encounter during the whole time.
Because of the sudden current, this is a very good choice for advanced divers. Diving in this northern mountain passport will be an experience to remember. You will probably meet the renowned Raira (grey Reiffhai ) in the passe-in, which will cross dozens of times in the mist of the fishs and colours.
Prepare for Ali Baba Creek, where the pelagic species meet to protect themselves from the current! Diving is from a deep of about 50-70ft. To the right, as you leave the Garuae passes, is the beautiful 40 ft level of reefs, which slopes down to about 100 ft just before the face.
Diving runs along the walls and ends again in the algae garden of the plains of the reef. Not only does the site contain a wealth of living and sane corals, it is also a breeding site for pelagic people. Alongside the steep face we mostly meet gray and freshwater pearl tip shark, tunas, scads and mantas.
It is open to scuba diving of all skill level. Inside the Laguna, near the Northern Passport, flat (up to 50 feet), the course is perfect for beginner, recreational or additional use. You' re going to encounter all types of shark. This is the only diving in the Tikehau Laguna.
You' ll come across mantas, cleansed of clean lips. You' ll see a beautiful reef gardens at a max. 15m deep where mantas cavort around deer. The site provides ideal diving opportunities for all levels of ability, from beginners to advanced level.
Diving in beautiful marine landscapes with large rock formation and hanging reefs is an opportunity for you to see lionfishes, large morays and some schools of amberjacks. It is suitable for all levels of diver. There is a variety of species around the large core formation (parrots, pushers, grouper, morays and lionfish).
Farther southwards, towards the end of the dives there is an eruption of colorful coral. You' ll be diving in a deep cliff. It starts at 65 ft and goes to a 165 ft deep, where the underwater wildlife is abundant. At the beginning of the dives you will be welcomed by a gray shark screen.
Through the labyrinth of gaps and cracks there is a rug of soldiers' snaps and porpoises fed in either pink, green or amber. If you are an expert scuba Diver, a bow will connect the two sides of the canyon, where scuba-divers will play with clown fishing in their anemon houses.
