Situated on a delicate, crocodile-shaped island in easily accessible Mamanucas, Vomo Island Fiji provides clean shore, a crystalline ocean and a second small island for romantically picnic. The elegant design with classy indigenous accents is also a rarity: a refined Fiji getaway that blends kids perfectly into their allure.

Snorkeling, canoeing, mountain hiking or circumnavigating the whole island - it only lasts about two inches. From December 20th to January 5th there is a 5 nights min. accommodation with a supplement of 450 FJ$ for an adults on New Year's Eve (300 FJ$ for Christmas Eve), inclusive evening meal; there is no supplement for kids.

For a more romantic holiday, enjoy a personal picknick on the button-sweet sandy shore of the smaller island Vomo Lailai, just two min by canoe. You will soon find a new adult only swimming pools on the more remote western side of the island. Includes CD players, iPod docks, minibars, L'Occitane toilet articles, outside decks and eating area. There is a large Royal Villa and the residence both have TV, a TV, a DVD set, fully equipped cuisine and a swimmingpool and butler services. When the view is your pocket, head for the high altitude Hillside Villas.

However, we like the beachfront mansions best, with some connection possibilities and outside deck and deckchairs, which are only a stone's throw away from the seas. The luxurious three-bedroom Royal Villa or four-bedroom residence with both kitchen and swimming pool is available for a family or friend. Each of the 28 apartments offers space for two grown-ups and two kids.

A slender, roomy outside swimming pools is bordered by Vomo's Reef Restaurant and Vuda Bar, with modern deckchairs for relaxing beach and ocean vistas, and stylish shaded umbrellas. Land rats, packing instructors for island hikes or on the courts. Transfers from the Viti Levu island are not included.

Vono provides free cot for toddlers; additional cribs for older babies aged four to twelve are included in the price (FJ$260 per day). There is FJ$15 per lesson for kittens, with one day's advance notification, and a great free children's nightclub. Vono Island Fiji receives youngsters and succeeds in merging them smoothly with grown-ups without watering down the classy ambience of the city.

Childrens of all age will enjoy the butter-soft beach and swimming pools, but you need to observe the childrens by the waters. You can have up to two of your own villas or choose to connect Beachfront Villas for older people. Whether the Royal Residence with three bedrooms or the Residence with four bedrooms is perfect for large groups, with several baths, a fully equipped bathroom, a fully equipped bathroom, a fully equipped living room and a sofa-bed.

Vomo is a five stars air-conditioned children's village suitable for any age. Vomo is suitable for young and old. There is no children's swimming area, but the large swimming area or diving in the ocean. Both of the biggest mansions have their own swimming baths, although they are not enclosed. Vomo from 11.00 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. Vomo's Restaurante provides an ample children's meal, and we welcome them anytime.

You can also eat on the shady Kids Village decks (usually 6pm-7pm) with or without your parent before your dinner. High chairs are available and the staff likes to warm up your baby's nutrition or dairy. There is Beachfront Vila 16 near the restaurants if you want to use a babysitting unit while eating, but the residence advises you to hire a nanny to take care of the children in your Vila when you venture out.

FJ$11 per lesson per baby butler, with at least one day's reservation needed - preferably during high seasons and academic vacations. Cribs, bed linen, high chairs and buoyancy devices, which are provided free of charge. Vono offers free cribs for babies under 2 years or additional bed for toddlers under 3 years for FJ$50 per person per night; meals and drinks are free.

Additional bed and meals for 4-12 year olds are charged at FJ$200 per person per day; adults over 12 years of age will be charged at the full price of A$700. Up to two small kids or kids can sleep in the room of one of the parents or adults. It cultivates biological spices, fruits and vegetable served in its own restaurants and has grown more than 50,000 crops to build local orchards on Vomo.

There is only your fantasy limit to the island and you can enjoy your own meals - from your own terrace to the beaches - so don't hesitate to ask. This dinning room has a trendy Sydney feeling, especially when lit by candlelight during the nights. The stylish reef restaurant is located around the hotel's elegant, rectilinear swimming pools and offers calming ocean vistas as well as a selection of indoor and open restaurants.

Vomo does not spoil you with one, but with two hot clubs. The Vomo Rocks Bar is a beautiful place to sit for a cocktail (or rocktail) at dusk with a beautiful view over the island Vomo Lailai. A lofty, relaxed cave with oversize, shady sun loungers, located on a quiet beach at the west end of the island and open from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Afterwards, repairs at the Vuda Bar, next to the reef restaurants and the swimming pools where the best wine and snack are served. Obtainable during opening times of the restaurants (7.00-21.30), with a FJ$10 charge for all supplies. Vomo does not currently have a room serving meal, so the meals are the same as on the reef, but the cook can make something unique for you.

Qantas' partner Fiji Airways operates non-stop services to Nadi (pronounced "Nandi") from Australia and New Zealand, Hong Kong, Honolulu and Los Angeles - also a major connecting hub from London or Canada, for example. Vono has a quick custom and luggage handling services. Vomo Airport is a 15-minute northbound airplane or chopper ride from Nadi Airport; the airport has its own heliport and can assist in organizing airport transfer services, although these are not covered (FJ$499 per route for adults, FJ$350 for 2-12 year olds, free for under two year olds).

Call Island Hoppers or Pacific Island Air for chopper transfer, they also fly seaplanes to Vomo; rates and information may vary. Only the only vehicles on the rural island of Vomo are owned by the personnel; visitors are not allowed to rent bikes. We can arrange for FJ$62 for one to four people, FJ$152 for five to 13 people, FJ$227 for 14-20 people and FJ$423 for 23-49 people.

Hop on a South Seas Cruise from Port Denarau to Vomo Island; the Captain's Lounges are FJ$200 for adult and FJ$100 for kids (5-15 years old), FJ$173 for adult and FJ$87 forchild. There is no charge for child under four years of age. Yasawa Flyer ferries leave Denarau Marina twice daily (8.30am and 4.30pm) and arrive on Vomo Island after a brief drive of oneh15.

FJ$916 for up to four persons, FJ$1065 for up to eight persons, FJ$1470 for up to 12 persons, FJ$2067 for up to 16 persons and FJ$2675 for up to 20 persons can be used. Vomo Island Fiji covers all activities with its buttery sandy beach, the beautiful sea and the swimming pools.

When you are very fortunate, you will see turtle babies hatch on sheltered bags on the beaches (May to July is breeding season). One of our top recommendations is the 15-minute hike to the island's top, with magnificent view of the island's cliffs, reefs and seas. Ask for a personal picknick on the abandoned island of Vomo Lailai near by, where you can enjoy a small sandy shore, a daily berth and resting places (the personnel will take you by shuttle bus with a walkie-talkie, beverages and a picknick of champagne).

Or picnic elsewhere on Vomo Island, where there are sunbathing on both sides, so you should always find a place without a wind. Or you can organize island hoping trips around the Yasawas or Mamanucas after your stay at Vomo; try the Yasawa Flyer or the South Sea Cruises.
