Visit Bora Bora French Polynesia

What makes you think we should visit Bora Bora Bora? I' been to many Caribbean Isles, most of Hawaii' Isles and the most frequented FP Isles (Tahiti, BB, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea, Tahaa and Rangiroa). For me, nothing is comparable to the natural beauties of French Polynesia (landscapes, luxuriance, watercolours, lakes, corals, snorkeling, etc.).
It' s costly, I know, but you CAN do it with a little money (you can complement your journey by spending part of your journey in guesthouses instead of large hotel chains and enjoying part of it). I' d also consider staying on BB for only a few nights and doing more of Moorea, which is also cheaper, but Moorea is beautiful.
When you have enough spare you can also go to an amazing Tuamotus which is a very different adventure than the Society's archipelago (the high islands) as it is a totally shallow motor (sandbanks) and a crystalline lagoon - it' goesogle and you will see what I mean.
The Bora Bora (and the other high islands) look like the luxuriant part of Kauai or Maui, but with an unbelievably clear lake surrounded by blue/teal - something HAWAI simply doesn't have. In the Caribbean there are also many beautiful places, but for me they don't hold FP. Gaza Island has a magnet effect on my mind, I suppose.
Plus, to get to the really beautiful island of the Canaries, you will be going to spend a good amount of money anyway. I am speaking of places like Tortola and the other US or Virgin Island, not Mexico or Cuba (which are beautiful in their own way, but simply not on the same plane as the other aforementioned island - just my opinion).
I' d definitely make sure out whether staying on Moorea on a part of your journey to keep down expenses, maybe staying there in a guesthouse or renting a home (lots of great options) and then splurge for 3 or 4 nights in the BB.
