January Vanuatu

Vanuatu coat of arms. You can enjoy this post and photos from her call in Port Vila, Vanuatu. Value added tax to be increased as of January 1, 2018

Vanuatu government has formally announced that the VAT will be increased from 12.5% to 15% from next Monday, 1 January 2018. To summarize the effects of the tariff amendment on your company, please see below: Payment made on or after 1 January 2018 for bills made on or after 1 January 2018 will receive the new 15% interest rates.

Payment for bills made before 1 January 2018 remains at 12.5%. In case the bill was made out before January 1, 2018, the old 12.5% tax will apply (and will be contained in the value added tax declaration for this period). In the event that the bill is made out after 1 January 2018, the new 15% fee will apply.

Customers are advised that the next two declarations (due on 5 January and 27 January 2018) refer to November and December 2017 respectively and therefore the old 12.5% applicable to the calculation of the value added taxpayer's reclaimable value added taxpayer's due. Companies using computer-based bookkeeping software such as Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Opera, RoomMaster, etc. must upgrade the rates in these software on Monday, January 1, 2018, to make sure that the proper value added taxes are calculated.

Vanuatu early January - Vanuatu Forum

September 20, 2012, 6:33 AM Hi, I just wonder if someone was in Vanuatu in December/Jan at any point and could inform us about the expected weathers. We' re considering leaving this year on Christmas Day and stay for about ten nights, but after having read some information that it was cyclonic in that period of the year, we're not sure whether or not we should proceed with our plan.

September 20, 2012, 7:08 p.m. We were at Efate in early January last year. There was a hurricane on the way, yes, it was sometimes raining, and yes, it was very damp. However, 2011 was a year for many rains and hurricanes in the South Pacific and flooding in Queensland, but the forecast for the upcoming summers predicts less precipitation.

September 21, 2012, 8:18 a.m. Thank you for your answer. September 23rd 2012, 7:53 a.m. We remained 10 in 2009/10. Until our departing we saw very little precipitation and yes, it is very damp. The following year we went 10/11 for 14 nights and it was raining more, although it doesn't stop you from doing something.

Sadly, we experienced a hurricane that was a little creepy and came with a little down. We' re going back this New Year, so the weathers have never deterred us. 27 September 2012, 4:52 a.m. 10 December 2013, 5:15 a.m. This thread has been shut down due to idleness for new positions.
