Kaua'i, the garden island, is a great holiday resort. Far from the hubbub of the metropolis Honolulu, Kaua'i is a great place for those looking for peace and the outdoors. Making the most of your stay in Kauai requires some careful thought, not the best out of your time.

For the best of Garden Isle, just take these easy footsteps and you'll have a great Kauai holiday. You can travel from your'home base' to any part of the islands within one to two hours, but you will stay most of the year. There are several large resort areas on the eastern bank, great sandy beach, most shops and is the nearest to the Aiport.

Most hotels are located directly on the shore. Roomier than a room in a luxury resort, they provide a kitchen for affordable food and often have a small terrace or terrace. A few of the most visited places are: snorkelling, trip to Waimea Canyon, boating along the Na Pali coastline, bird watching, paragliding on one of the many creeks, and a visit to a local canoe.

Because you' re on holiday, that doesn't mean you can make any kind of unlawful turn wherever you want. A lot of lives have been lost because they have made such curves on the streets of Kaua'i.

When picking fruits on the roadside, make sure there are no pits or traces of pox in the rind of the fruits. On Kaua'i orchids are widespread, pockmarks mean larvae. The surfing season changes with the arrival of waves on the north/east coast of Kaua'i in October. Stick to all the signposts on the shore - the lifeguard knows the sea better than you do.
