Auckland, New Zealand's biggest metropolis, is where your trip begins. The pick up starts at your lodging early and light before we drive to the coastal village of Paihia to the south. A trip to the historical Waitangi Treaty Grounds (at your own expense) follows before you settle in our lodging where you can have a group dinner and end the day in Paihia.

This evening you have the opportunity to take part in a Maori led dusk meeting where you will be able to see the Waipoua woods, meet Maori legend and the spiritually living in the woods and see the world's biggest cauri trees, the "god of the forest" Tane Mahuta (at your own expense).

From Auckland we drive southeast to the unspoilt sandy beach of Hahei Beach, from where you can reach the Cathedral Cove.

You have the opportunity this afternoons to visit the world-famous Weta workshop, admire the miracles of nature and culture of the Te Papa National Museum or hike along the water at the Oriental Parade.
Incl. breakfasts. From Wellington we drive over the Cook Strait with the Bluebridge Ferry to Picton, the seaside city of the South Island. This is where we met our bus and drove through the renowned Marlborough vineyards. We' ll stop at the winery in a vine yard to taste New Zealand's world-famous Sauvignon Blanc before driving into the stunning Abel Tasman National Park.
This evening we will be enjoying tasty shellfish and a barbecue meal at our camping site. Incl. breakfasts and dinners. It is a free today to visit the unbelievable Abel Tasman National Park. Cruise this breathtaking seaside area, known as one of New Zealand's most sunny places. Take the coast path and see some of New Zealand's best pristine gold sand or take advantage of options such as yachting or canoeing.

In the Fiordland National Park, one of New Zealand's most unspoilt and unspoilt areas, with breathtaking ice-carved fjords, dales, ponds and mountains. When it is a clear day, make sure you go to the top of the boat after supper to do some extraordinary eye-candy. Incl. breakfasts and dinners. Around noon we leave Doubtful Sounds and leave the breathtaking Fiordland behind us to drive to Queenstown, the'adventure city of the world'.
Incl. breakfasts. Incl. breakfasts. We return by coach for a brief ride to Wanaka, where we will spent the mornings cycling some of the most beautiful paths on New Zealand's lakeshore. In the afternoon we cross the Lindis Pass through the beautiful Mackenzie area to the foot of the country's highest peak, Aoraki/Mt Cook.
Incl. breakfasts and dinners. Tonight we set out through a scenery that has become renowned in the "Lord of the Rings" film. For those who do not do a raft trip, drive on to Christchurch, where your rider will draw your attention to the delights of the biggest town on the South Island. Raftsers will return to the group tonight at the Christchurch lodge.

Then we head to the east coast and the seaside town of Kaikoura, known for a variety of miracles of nature from country to high seas. Enjoy one of the famed Kaikoura Dalmatian Delfin and Walewhale watching trips (at your own expense), see the seal next to the Goose Bay street or hike around the promontory and enjoy the stunning view from the viewpoint.
Incl. breakfasts. In the morning we take a delightful ride along jagged coast streets to Picton, where we take the Cook Strait to Wellington. This is an expedited rally back to New Zealand's biggest town, Auckland, via the National Park. On the way we stop for photography and eat in the National Park town before returning to Auckland for a long afternoons.
