In the following NAC Enhanced Google Maps, almost anyone in Fiji can find the global postcode (i.e. the universal address) of their home or office by just a few clicks of the pan/zoom/click on the high-resolution satemap. Either you can use an eight-digit code (the right-angled area after you click your home on the map) if it can already clearly identifiy your house/building, or a ten-digit code (the little bit of amber that identifies about every sq. m. on the earth's surface) as your global postcode.
The Global Postal Code allows all items to be sort from the global postcode through to the ultimate postboxes on all postal sorters if the postal sort system has a global postcode postal sortation programme in place. Please refer to NAC Geographic Products Inc. for information about such post sortation solutions.
If you are writing a post, you can include the global postal code as part of the postal code, e.g.: E. NAC: This means inserting an additional line at the end of the existing postal code beginning with "NAC:" followed by the global postal code. When a sorter knows the code, it can use the code to have your post sorted for automatic domestic or foreign deliver.
So you can now begin using the code on the post without waiting for all post sorters to be able to grade the post according to the global postcode. Global Zip Code Use the cursor to move/zoom the card and click a place to view the NAC at the top of the city.
Postcodes were first launched in Germany in 1941, followed by Argentina in 1958, the United Kingdom in 1959 and the United States in 1963. There are now more than 117 nations worldwide with their own postal code system. Postal zip code sorting aims to make postal services more efficient, reliable and automatic.
However, the great untapped potentials of postal code are not yet exhausted. Firstly, most postcodes are not associated with the definitive mailboxes, so all items must still be ordered into the definitive mailboxes in the mailbox. However, as the globe becomes more global and the volumes of global postal services are growing fast, domestic postal code cannot support automatic postal sortation and all global postal services are still mainly handled internally, which is too costly to be continued.
This new system standardizes all geographical coordinate, area code, address, postal code, grid and ownership markings in the globe and makes all directly related geographical goods and service and their information readily interchangeable. Not only can it be used for domestic and international postal service, but also for courier service, taxi, emergency medical service, on-line location-based service, GPS positioning system, geographical information system and many others.
