Sealink Great Barrier Island Ferry Service
SeaLinks' boat, the Iceland Navigator brings automobiles, passenger and cargo to the Isle. The trip to Tryphena, the southernmost harbour of the Great Barrier takes about 4.5 h. The trip takes about 4.5hrs. There is a lot to see in the breathtaking landscape, birds and sea creatures.... Cetaceans, Orcas and Delfine are often spotted.
This service also carries cargo and petrol - the journey back from the islands may be postponed due to the amount of loading and unloading times.
