Journeys to Lau
Sawa-i-Lau is an outstanding island of lime stone with two caverns in the middle of a series of volcanoes. It is assumed that the submarine lime stone developed several hundred meters below the ground and was then lifted over the years. Diurnal light wells penetrate a large dome-shaped cavern - its wall protrudes 15 meters above the sea level - where you can bathe in an incredibly nice nature-poo.
You can also go swimming through an underground tunnel into an adjacent room with a leader, a flare and a little guts. The most Yasawa Resort offers excursions to the cave from about $60 per capita.
