Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings we roll out our yoga mat and turn the sundeck on the beach into an immediate yoga school. Lessons are free of charge and are led by an expert, locally trained and highly sought-after teacher. All our in-house visitors, from the beginner to the yoga master, are welcome to breath, stretching and relaxing and to find their own times of balancing their bodies, minds and souls.
oga and mindfulness weekend in the center of Samaya
From the 12th to the 13th of Sept. the week-end is for everyone: beginners and intermediate. If you want a mindfulness course, please reserve now! It was a week-end away from all the everyday cares, away from everything you have to do and just a great week-end for yourself and for yourself.
It was a week-end full of yoga and contemplation exercises, during which one realizes that "YOU" are important. It will take place from 12-13 Sept. at the Samaya Retirement Center, an old nunnery on Utrechtse Heuvelrug in Werkhoven. "This is the best gift you can give yourself.
Nothing is mandatory this week-end, anything is possible. Erna Vonck (1959) gives Hatha-Yoga, Dru-Yoga, Ayurveda massages, Ayurveda cuisine. Being a sports and exercise instructor, I realised the importance of recreation. First she completed the Astanga Yoga course with Tony Goes in Montfoort, followed by the Saswitha Yoga Teachers' Course in Bilthoven.
This year of specialisation was dedicated to yoga for older people and young people. For several years Erna has been associated with the Laren Yoga Teaching Group. After completing Ayurveda massages education with Jade in Utrecht, she also works as a masseur. Since 2005 he has been living for six years as a Buddhist student.
Between 2000 and 2005 he completed the 3-year hatha and 2-year mediation education with Osmose in The Hague. Taught classical yoga, chi kong and various types of mediation such as non-dual-mediation ("shamatha", "vipashyana" and "samadhi"). In attentiveness trainings he will teach you to be fully present in the here and now in everything you do and to make you conscious on three levels: physically, emotionally and spiritually.
After the MBSR workout Jon Kabat Zinn will conduct the 8-week attentiveness workout 1. 0 (for beginners). Hans-Joseph has created a sequel: Attentiveness 2. where Vipashyana mediation and the development of the 10 virtues, such as empathy, are important. It organises Yoga & awareness seminars, classes and seminars in the Netherlands and abroad.
