Arrival to the airport
Airport Express to New Orleans (Louis Armstrong) International Airport operates nine (9) flights a day to and from New Orleans Airport to assist airport staff working shifts at the construction site of the North Terminal and the major airport terminal. Inhabitants and guests can also use the Airport Express for air travel.
Jefferson Transit (JeT) also provides an airport shuttle service (E2). The Jefferson Transit operator is an airport shuttle to New Orleans and is connected to the RTA system. For more information about the Jefferson Transit E2 coach, please be aware that RTA tariffs and passports cannot be used for the Jefferson Transit System.
Airport Express Service runs every 70 min with departures from Elk Place in Cleveland and Union Passenger Terminal Bay 2 to the departures level at the airport terminal with selected journeys to the construction site of the North Terminal. The Jefferson Transit's E2 airport shuttle service operates from two locations in New Orleans: The Mid-City E2 stop (Tulane Avenue on S. Carrollton Avenue) is easily reached by Canal Streetcar to the intersection of Canal Street and S. Carrollton Avenue. Then follow S. Carrollton Avenue to Tulane Avenue.
You can easily reach the stop of the Tulane Avenue on Loyola Avenue with the Canal street car to the intersection of Canal Street and Elk Place. Then go down Elk Place to Tulane Avenue. From the tram stop on Canal Street and Elk Place it is a 2 minute walking distance to the school.
