After the constitutional amendment ACT 1980-81, 1991 and the election amendment ACT 1986-87 there are 10 electoral precincts on Rarotonga. District constituency name in each district is as follows: Rarotonga has 5 districts: The Avarua district is from Tapere Pokoinu to Tapere Tupapa. The district is from Tapere Titama to Tapere Pouara.

The district of Ngatangiia is from Tapere Turangi to Tapere Maii. The Takitumu district is from Tapere Tikioki to TapereVaimaanga. The Arorangi district is from Tapere Rutaki to Tapere Pokoinu-i-raro. Titikaveka is a tapere of Takitumu according to the first surveying records of the first surveying by Rarotonga H.M. Connal from the year 1913.

Rarotonga Cross Island Walk at Rarotonga & Cook Islands 2018 & Map

While you can walk anywhere in the Cook Islands, some of the best walks can be found on Rarotonga. If you are looking for something really interesting and authentical, you can take a 3 to 4-hour walk through the beautiful countryside from the northern to southern coast of Rarotonga. Many of the paths are well groomed, but there are also some very demanding cliffs, which are highly risky in soaking.

Thus the best season for this adventurous activity is the cold and arid one. It ends near the beautiful Wigmore's Waterfall, where you can chill out after your trekk.
