a very bad and bad experiance - Review of Rakiura Charters & Water Taxi, Stewart Island, New Zealand

While we were looking for a relaxing and instructive journey, a journey down the freshwater stream was solicited. It was so fast that all the animals in the ocean would have been hurt or slaughtered. We came to the Freshwater we saw exactly nothing.

We would have gone to the Shotover Riviera outside Queenstown for an exhilarating, quick and adventure journey and jet-boating. Then we were thrown around as the ship went up the stream and washed away the shore on both sides and deterred any game.

God knows what would have happen if there had been another vessel or canoe on the riverbank. I was very rude to say that the journey had to be too fast at low water, it was about an hours away from the flood. But there must be some limitations on such a specific river.......but they have clearly not been followed.

The Freshwater Riviera Schenic is promoted as a "scenic language school" and we try to make it clear that there is no going or not. It is a relatively low flow, but the constantly evolving estuary of the flow becomes very flat. Yeah, the ride probably started about an hours before the flood, as the ride lasts 45 minutes each way, and we generally have to be out of the flood at the turn of the flood, otherwise we run the danger of going under.

The" No Velocity Limit" is not seen as a chance for "speed". On the way we drive with a maximum cruise of about 22 knots, which is not exaggerated. The flow is shared with several different stakeholder groups. We' ve also taken an innovating, volunteer move to mitigate our effects on the riverbank by creating our new Henerata with a user-defined, flat deltas that is exclusively designed to proactively cut the ship's lag in the fresh waters.

It was considered a rewarding effort to protect the freshwater shores.
