Princess Cruises (November 17, 2016) - Recognised for the best routes in Europe, Princess Cruises will continue to provide first-class travel in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe for the 2018 campaign. The new " Local Connections " programme of the shipping company, which connects passengers with genuine on-board and shore specialists, will be on display from 1 December.
Princess Cruises 2018 cruises to Europe will highlight the first visit of the Sapphire Princess to this area as well as round trips with the Royal Princess from Paris (Le Havre). In the 2018 sail five vessels to 115 targets from the shores of the Mediterranean to the northern tip of Europe.
Visitors can select from 57 unrivalled routes on 168 cruises in 35 different destinations. Incorporating the enthusiasm and proudness of the company's harbour partner, the first "Local Connections" programme in the sector is designed to motivate the line's visitors, while fully exploiting the inspiration and creative spirit of the partner who knows the goal best.
Some of the items included a range of videos of local harbour associates giving their thoughts, experience and advice on the places they call home, as well as on board experts, new cruises, harbour companion and hiking map books, new harbour greetings and sailing adventures and an inside tour with " what's new?
Some of the European peaks of the April - December 2018 campaign include: - Sapphire Princess makes her first call to the British Isles, Northern Europe and the Mediterranean from London, in parallel to a 38-day inaugural flight between Singapore and London. It will also make the shipping company's first harbour call to Skagen (Denmark).
- New 12-day cruises on the British Isles from Paris/Normandy (Le Havre) will be available on board the Royal Princess, which will be named by the Duchess of Cambridge in 2013. - As part of the company's More Ashore programme, which offers more harbour travel, a 12-day journey of European capitals on board the Pacific Princess offers one night in Amsterdam and a delayed departures from Antwerp.
The Crown Princess starts on 55 cruises with 13 unforgettable routes, 27 of which are in the Mediterranean and the Aegean. Seven days of departure from Rome to Athens includes tours to Salerno, Kotor, Corfu, Crete and Mykonos. Cruises of 11 days from Barcelona to Rome are to Marseille (for Provence), Florence/Pisa, Katakolon (for Olympia), Mykonos, Santorini, Kotor and Naples (for Capri and Pompeii).
The Sapphire Princess also offers 14-day cruises from London (Southampton) to the western Mediterranean, with later sailings from Barcelona. Pacific Princess offers 12-28 day trips to a wide range of Mediterranean resorts including Croatia, Greece, Malta and Monte Carlo, with Venice accommodation on all 12 day trips between Rome and Venice.
Royal Princess now offers 12-day round trips from Paris/Normandy (La Havre) and round trips from London (Southampton) for 2018. Selected departures on this route involve accommodation in Dublin and all cruises are delayed departures from Belfast. Visitors will have the chance to visit the remarkable Edinburgh Military Tattoo on selected eight days Pacific Princess departures and 12 days Royal Princess cruises, with overnights in Edinburgh on Pacific Princess.
Saphire Princess makes her first call to Northern Europe, along with the return vessels Regal Princess and Pacific Princess for 11 to 14 days Scandinavia & Russia departures from Copenhagen or London. The cruises include accommodation in St. Petersburg. Pacifica Princess also operates cruises from London (Dover), and visits a wide range of isolated northern European locations in Iceland, Norway and the Shetland Islands, as well as a unique summer solstice in Spitsbergen.
To give our visitors more free access to the culture and gastronomy of the area, selected routes in Europe offer accommodation in 32 harbours such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, St. Petersburg, Stockholm and Venice as well as departure in Belfast, Berlin and Oslo in the evenings. Visitors can enrich their trip to Europe with four one-of-a-kind cruise packages that combines certain departure times with a fully accompanied country outing.
Choose from Paris and the French landscape; Ireland's Ring of Kerry; classic Italy, which visits beloved places in Venice, Florence and Rome; and the imperial treasures of Budapest, Vienna, Prague and Berlin. Former Princess Cruises passengers are invited to take part in a promotional offer if they make their reservations before August 31, 2017. Captain's Circle members who make a reservation in less than seven business nights will get a saving of $50 per passenger.
A $100 per person rebate is available for those who book a 7-20 day European tour and $200 for those who book a 20 day or more stay (third and 4th bed passengers are not eligible). Throughout Europe in 2018, visitors can select a new top-of-the-range class with luxurious seating and dinner in the new Club Class Mini Suite.
