Assistance in planning a trip to Chile, Bolivia & Easter Islands - Chile Forum

I' d like to go to the Easter Islands and the saltworks in Bolivia and Chile (probably a trip by jeep from Uyuni to Atacama or the other way round). Apart from the Easter Islands and the saltworks, I am open to proposals. I' ve been to Argentina (including El Calafate) and Peru (not around Lake Titicaca).

What do I have to cover for the saltworks trip? Easter Island costs are the fare. The Chilean climate is ranging from sandy to very sandy. The Chilean Lake District and Chiloe Island, where you can see penguins. I' m not sure I'd take the saltworks if you suffered from mountain ailment.

You can hike all over Chile. I have read the height can be a difficulty when I visit the saltworks, but this is one of the 2 major causes for my trip. Do you have something that is sure to work in mountain ailments? Anyway, I go whether I get ill or not (I get motor disease too) haha.

Since I will already be at high altitudes, I should also go to La Paz, which will also make the logistic a little more convenient. I think I'll fly to Santiago, go to the Easter Islands, go back to Santiago and then make my way to San Pedro de Atacama.... hopefully this will help me acclimatize a little.

Take a one-way trip to Uyuni and then to Sucre and depart from La Paz. At the moment most of my flight, whether back flight or open pine from Toronto, is over $1200AD, no matter what data I input, this includes next year. Have a good trip and good fortune!
