The Paulatuk artist is known throughout Canada and the whole wide globe for dancing, playing and sculpture, printing and drawing. Close to the west estuary of the Northwest Passage, this is a small, traditionally Inuvialuite village with strong origins in the hunt, catching and harvesting of saiblin. It is also a base camp for excursions to Tuktut Nogait National Park, Cape Parry Bird Sanctuary and Smoking Hills, a constantly firing seabed.
