Outrigger Viti LevuViti Levu boom
Boom or Yatule - Viti Levu Forum
To think that our sojourn is at last due to Outrigger and Yatule. The Yatule seems more Fiji and the Outrigger more "upscale", if that makes perfect business. They have a large west styled with Outrigger, many of which we have at home and Yatule is more what Fiji is, smaller resorts bores on a lovely sandy shore, rocking palm trees.
So, I would choose to go to the best place in Fiji, and it is there. Somewhat remote like off the beaten track, but right on the golden sandside. The Outrigger is a large & sprawling, can be loud with many folks. think we have also established ourselves on it.
NATOADOLA (where Yatule is located) is certainly a nice place. Surf boards were in use when we were in the Intercontinental (next door) a few years ago and the surf on the shore was quite high. It is not like the quiet lagoons called Fiji at this time.
Everywhere along the coastline there can be harsh sea, yes Natadola can crack, even the island have their problems in harsh conditions, but mostly it is beauty. You' re going to love Yatule. And Yatule is also my choice and I stuck with both of them. and it was pretty quiet this season.
Snorkeling was better in Natadola. If you are a good swimmer, you can also go swimming from Yatule diagonal. Please also see my Yatuleension.
Toot or not?
