Maui, Molokini Crater and Black Rock are two of the most famous places, while on Big Iceland Kahaluu and Kealakekua Bay are among the most famous places to see light coloured pelagic animals swim.

It' so simple to feel at home in a beach resorts and never see the city beyond the city. You can explore the beautiful nature of these different archipelagoes on various family-friendly walks. Diamond Head is definitely the most beloved on Oahu and while the ride to the summit is both sharp and warm, it's definitely rewarding.

In Maui, the Moon's Caldera on Haleakala or the Iao Valley in emeraldgreen. Both Punaluu Black Sand and Poipu beaches on Big Island and Kauai are great places to see turtles, also known as honey, in a bath. People often see the city of Hongu at Lanikea Bay on the north coast of Oahu and sunbathe directly on the shore.

The Maui is particularly loved by those who watch the whales in the winters. If you want a more adrenaline-inducing experience, watch Hawaii Shark Encounters operating on Oahu's North Shore. USS Missouri offers the possibility for a family to board a warship. Children who like aeroplanes will appreciate the Pacific Aviation Museum, where genuine World War II aircraft such as the B-25B bomber are displayed in a 42,000 sq. m. large hanger that actually survive the Pearl Harbor War.

Do you need help with a Hawaiian holiday? This episcopal museum offers the visitor the possibility to get to know the Hawaiian and Polynesian past and its people. In the Polynesian Cultural Centre homes can be visited in different towns that represent different island communities around Polynesia, such as Tonga, Tahiti, Fiji, Samoa and Hawaii.

The family will enjoy all the practical things like javelin casting, rock climb, canoeing, Samoan cuisine, shows and touring. With all the great genuine Hwaiian cuisine, you'll probably want to work it off. Well-known for its cascades and for good reason - Hawaii is breathtakingly beautiful! There are many cases that can only be reached by chopper or difficult hikes through the jungles, but some are easily accessible to the family.

In Oahu you reach the 150 foot long Manoa Falls via a brief, often humid trek through the rain forest. From the north shore, family can stroll through the beautiful landscaped grounds of Waimea Valley Audubon Center, which ends at Waimea Falls, a cascade with a swimming bath.

In Maui you can see several falls while taking the renowned road to Hana, among them the Seven Sacred Ponds. For the more adventure-loving family, the 4 miles walk to Waimoku Falls is at the other end of Haleakala National Park. Wailua Falls and Opeakaa Falls are particularly easily accessible on Kauai, making them ideal for small children.

Big Iceland is home to Rainbow Falls in Hilo and Akaka Falls, the runner of the famed Go-Hawaii advertisement. You flew all the way across the Pacific to see the Hawaiian islands, so why confine your stay to one of them? Oahu's Honolulu is a great place if you're looking for big-town entertainment, but if you want to see dark sandy shores, volcanos and the rainy town of the USA, the Big Iceland is the way to go.

Much of Hawaii is home to some of the most stunning sands in the world, many of which are family harbours. In the Great Island, sandy dark sandy shores such as Punaluu are brilliant specimens of Hawaii's vulcanic origins (plus water-populating emerald turtle!).

If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind adventure, consider the walk (suitable for older, adventure-loving children) to the Green Beach on Big Iceland. Surrounded by some of the most luxury resort on the southern shores of Maui, Wailea Beach is a secret - all Hawaiian shores are open to the general public, allowing homes and businesses to explore this beautiful beach wherever they may be.

Upwind of Oahu, Kailua Beach and Lanikai Beach are incredibly beautiful and free of the mass of visitors that line the Waikiki beach.
