It goes over and over in customers services, it has been aweful from the start of the transaction...my bench for over 30 years, they've been ok, they' have always been kind but when we wanted a auto loan, they hauled their feet and we have magnificent credit, I appreciate this may be good as they don't give...

The North Island Credit Union helps San Diego schoolchildren prepare for school.

In its second year, North Island collected and sponsored more than 275 packs of educational materials for schoolchildren throughout San Diego County and worked with EmbroidMe San Diego. The rucksacks are handed out by employees in each of the 11 North Island stores in San Diego County to the neighboring primary, secondary or high Schools.

The headmasters then make the rucksacks available to the needy schoolchildren. "There' s no better way to help our youngsters get ready for a brighter and brighter tomorrow than to help them in their education," said Steve O'Connell, President and CEO of North Island. "We' re looking forward to returning to this important programme that will help pupils of all age groups to get the academic year off to a good start and help them on their way to study and alphabetization.
