The city of New Zealand is in the southwest of the Pacific. His closest neighbour is Australia, about 1,500 kilometres western of New Zealand. It is made up of a number of islands, the two largest being the North Island and the South Island. New Zealand's main city is Wellington, at the foot of the North Island.

There are two different time bands in New Zealand. New Zealand's most populous North and South Islands use New Zealand Standard Time (NZST). That is twelve before the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Chatham Standard Time (CHAST) is the other time area, 12 hrs. and forty-five mins. before entering time. It is interesting that many places in Antarctica also use the time of the National Antarctic Treaty, among them Admunsden-Scott South Pole Station.

At the moment I am living on Maui, IATA supported and I am a member of the tourism authorities of Fiji, Tahiti and New Zealand. We' had the best time of our journey. We' ve also gone to Glenorchy (well, I have - Pete got sick!) and that was incredible. Afterwards we went jet boating and spend a great deal of time in the city's pubs and restaurante.

Then we stayed a fewh in Nelson and went to Bleinhem for a full days and had a great time. While in Motueka, we had some time to relax and then did an 8 hrs kayak/hike through Abel Tasman, which was really amazing....and weird!

We' ve been spending a great deal of time in Rotorua because it was so nice, but we went to hell, which was really great. At Auckland we walked for a whole afternoon and one night we were playing a game of tennis. On to Fiji.... it was incredible!

Our hunting-voyage was astonishing and we spend a great deal of time in our diving area. We' ll definitely let our buddies and our families know how great you were when they left for New Zealand / Fiji! "We had a terrific time in Fiji.

For skiers, the skiing period begins in early June and lasts until the end of October. Their summers run from December to February.

The New Zealand skiing seasons start in early June and last until the end of October.
