In one or two days you can see scenic fjords, craggy peaks, wide open spaces, gentle slopes, sub-tropical woods, a vulcanic plain and kilometers of beach. Many of these areas are sheltered by national parks, where thousand of kilometers of walks and paths make their beauties accessible to the population.
The Taupo Lake is the culmination of one of the biggest and most devastating volcanoes on earth. In Rotorua you will experience this geothermic action up-close with bubbling Geysirs, warm basins and sparkling silt. While the west coast is jagged and wild with many dark sandy shores, the east coast has soft golden sandy shores, tranquil bays and ports with islets.
Evidence: The world' s best landscape
None of New Zealand's parts is less than 128 km from the sea, the whole land is lumbering with vulcanic activities, dotted with giant falls, colorful seas that are completely different from anywhere else in the whole wide open spaces and high peaks! Remark: This is just a foretaste of what New Zealand has to show - if we had to enumerate every stunning place, we would be here until Christmas!

Located on the southern isle of New Zealand, the daring freshwater of the Pukaki Sea is due to the glacier activities in this area. It is famous for its colourful lupine blossoms, which sprout for only 4 to 5 week at the end of each year. Taupo's most famous crossroads is 20 - 23 km long - treat yourself to a full day's stroll from Taupo and get ready for some astonishing sight!
