I will be in Nadi from 17 to 20 December and would like to go to Naqara Island (2 of us) to research a novel....... maybe a station wagon/boat or a ship all the way. You must stay on the island for a maximum of 1h. Boats can be small but quick. Are you suggesting the fastest way to get there by Sigatoka?

Island Naqara

Isle of Naqara is an island belonging to Morel's and Works, where the Works are minorities, with the Morel's being the controlling shareholders, and the proprietors George Morel, his remaining children and his remaining children among his brethren and sisters are the main shareholders with 112 acre for their interests.

The Naqara Island is split into the Morrell-Kinder ( "Sons-including George") & Daughter (Rosie Rounds née Morrell in Nukubalavu) and the Works Family in Nukubukete. morell and the kids who own 112 acre and the remainder belongs to Adrian Raymond Morel sr. Herr Work purchased this island from the American Council and since Mr Morell was his good pal and he was suu bulkumakau, Mr Work was offering him the large plot of ground for nothing. Wellara is a kaioma island, not fijian.
