Molia is a vulcanic isle in the Moala sub-group of the Fijian Lau Islands. Delaimoala, the highest point on the Moala Islands, with a peak height of 468 metres, is known as the Delaimoala, with its abundant greenery and dense, deep wood. Its main community is over 500 inhabitants.

It is Moala Lailai, whose influential villages were once spread all over the island by Manukui (postcolonial Vunuku) and Wainikelei (postcolonial Keteira). Rovarovaivalu, whose descendants are known as "yavusa tinitini" (the clan of ten or ten clans), headed by Naivalukuru, belongs to Rokomautu's family.
At first the settlement was inhabited by Wainikelei, the later colonists were yeavusa ratu from Verata and yeavusa nacuritutu after their comeback from Tonga. First occupying Moala were Wainikelei (postcolonial Keteira); followed by Nasau or Korosau (Naroi); Manukui (Vunuku; Cakova and Nasoki); Keteicake (Turagalevu) and later Nuku, Vadra and; Maloku.
These latter were the result of the Manukui-Nasau conflict. Postcolonial Fiji led today to the displacement from Nasau to Naroi and from Manukui to Vunuku, Cakova and Nasoki. Others came in the shape of Vadra, Nuku and Maloku from other parts of Fiji as a formalisation of their efforts in the last Fijian clan conflict that took place on the island, which politicized the nation through the efforts to register the Fijian people by Sukuna (Rt).

According to the legend, the Tuiwai Cane is similar to a sailor whose navigational skills can be learned immediately at the wheel.
According to tradition, the two stocks reached Moala, the Tuiwai stocks remained behind, while the Tura stocks took over in Tonga, gave up the Kaunitoni with them and returned with a new name Kaunitera. Each name Tuiwai and Tura had a similar function to any ocean voyage: the Tuiwai population took over the rudder, while the Tura population is to replace the pole, which must be moved to each end of the kayak if it is necessary to capture it.
The Navucunimasi (today generally called Namoala) saw soon before the Manukui Wars that the Isle was already under occupation and thus the name of the Isle of Muala (simply ascending). This Nasau chieftain probably comes from Verata (the victor of the Nukukatu breed), just north of Wainikelei and/or Keteira, who today decide to consolidate their right to the chieftainship by awarding the Tui Nasau after the Manukui-Iwar.
Shortly after the colonial lords forced the founding of Tui Moala, to whom the Tui Nasau had consented to nominate and instruct Turagaevu at that time: "Representing/entertaining the Naroi administration, while all messages and requests to Tui Nasau are brought to the "vanua" or other villages for consultation.
Only the Wainikelei share made the award of the Tui Nasau possible, although it was not distantly related to the Manukui war. Moalan is one of the oldest in the group, whose respectfulness and power can be enhanced by the connection between the islands and some islands in the Fiji group, among them Taveuni, Verata, Bau, Gau, Levuka, Cicia, Vatoa, Ono Kadavu and some others.
