Ever since we founded St. Hilda Sea Adventures, we have seen a growing interest among our visitors in expanding our cruises to the rugged isles and isolated anchorage areas of the Inner and Outer Hebrides. In order to have simple acces to these beautiful lakes and cliffs in 2018, we have chosen to settle in Oban (Dunstaffnage Marina), the gate to the isles.

Sailing from 3 to 13 days between the magnificent Argyll Lakes and the wonderful Isles, Scotland's most famous cruises are truly unique. This is a very personal cruise adventure with a max. of 8 passengers in an ideal marine environment. Iain Duncan, owner and skipper, welcomes you aboard the elegant'Splendour', a stylishly reconstructed folk wood tractor boat that offers the ultimate break.

Capacious outside deck areas provide the opportunity to relax on deck chairs, observe the fauna, perhaps find a place to fish or take a relaxing dive into a remote cove. Landing a tenders is part of the pleasure of discovering breathtaking coastline, old towns, old forests, chateaux and world-famous whiskey stills.

When you are on the move on the tender, you can help the ship's crews arrange fences for crabs or perhaps lobsters to be eaten at the next cook. When you' re done on decks, explore ashore and create memorable experiences, you' ll be able to unwind with other people in the salon to savour the freshness of the most delicious regional products that Mike, the ship's head cook, prepares and cooks.

Western Isles sea bird paradise, with over 40,000 brooding boobies, 100 puffins, harbour porpoises and the opportunity to watch minke whales, all from the large game viewing deck at Splendour. Splendour' does justice to its name with nice, old-fashioned design, both inside and out.
