Australasia's Methodist Church was a Methodist confession located in Australia. Five Methodist Confessions in Australia - the Wesleyan Methodist Church, the Primitive Methodists, the Bible Christian Church, the United Methodist Free and the Methodist New Connexion Churches - joined forces on January 1, 1902 to found a new church[1] In politics, it largely followed the Wesleyan Methodist Church.

In 1875, this church set up a triennial general conference for Australasia (which includes New Zealand) with annual conferences in the states. Most of its parishes merged with the many parishes of the Congregational Union of Australia and the Presbyterian Church of Australia to become the Uniting Church in Australia.

Independant Methodist communities still exist in Australia, as well as communities founded or influenced by Tongan migrants. Wesleyan Methodist Church of Australia is based on the Wesleyan Methodist Church of America and has not joined the Uniting Church in Australia.
