The Bronislaw Malinowski biography Methods of research to understanding the self bibliography The End Bronislaw Malinowski An anthropologist theorem of functionalism Malinowski is the parent of structured sociological function. Bronislaw Malinowski is regarded as the originator of the field of social-anthropological research. Anthropological work is a field of humanities dealing with anthropological issues such as relational economic and religious belief, especially of non-literates; this means that it has been examined by much attentive monitoring.

The Malinowski group treats it as a set of tradition and artefacts that shapes the individual, a group known as it. It also treats it as a rigid fact of life, founded on the needs of man, which have evolved from the needs of a highly sophisticated world. During his research in Melansia in 1914, Bronislaw Malinowski devised a new methodology that changed the realm of man.

At Melansia, when he carried out his renowned Trobriader research, he emphasized the importance of studying previously unknown civilizations. In deciding to examine such companies, he took the importance of these companies to those in advanced civilizations. He showed that there is much to be learned about mankind's natural environment from all civilizations, no matter how rough it may seem from our finite point of views.

Malinowski has in a way introduced the concept of a single mankind and he has helped the well-being of all mankind, rather than a group of people. "-Malinowski 1922 A short biography: Borislaw Kasper Malinowski was borne in Poland on 7 April 1884 as the sons of Lucyan and Jozefa Malinowski.

There he was under the heavy impact of Wilhem Wundt, who turned his attention to the fields of psychological and anthropological culture. Malinowski emigrated from England in 1914 to study for four years in New Guinea and Melanesia and briefly in Australia. During the next 26 years Malinowski witnessed many civilizations, many of them indigenous (e.g. the Trobrian Islands, the contemporary Zapotecs of Mexico).

During Malinowski's observation of civilizations, he educated and inspired many with his anthropological work. After 1924 he came back to the University of London as a scholar of anthropological literature and after 1927 as a teacher of humanities. Malinowski got Mar 6, 1919 in Australia to marry Elsie Rosaline Masson.

Malinowski was killed on 16 May 1942 by an unannounced myocardial infarction. Although his carreer ended prematurely, Malinowski was a modest man of great emotion and an exemplary humanist. It is considered the founder of the functionalistic schools of humanities and for its part in the development of the methodology and primary focus of humanities.

There is no doubt that he was one of the greatest sociologists of the 20th cent. He is considered the originator of the anthropological discipline. His work has been instrumental in developing the anthropological area from a primarily evolved emphasis to areas of sociology and psychology. Interacting with the groups he studied, he took notice of things like their behavioral pattern, their interaction with others, or their cultures/traditions.

For this reason, he has researched the general community carefully and thoroughly and has been able to connect them with many different kinds of communities, customs and life styles from all over the globe. Although Malinowski, through his frequent contacts with the culture he studied, would conduct precise and thorough research, he would not conduct impartial research on the culture he studied, since he continually compared it with the West and Europe.

Although Malinowski allegedly refused Darwin's ideas that civilizations begin as crude and can then be regarded as less developed in comparison to the West or Europe; a hypothesis that many humanists would accept at the times, his opinions were biased, and he would still evaluate and contrast other civilizations and life styles with his own.

For this reason, he teaches men that occidental society is somewhat better and more cultivated than others, and at the same token he teaches men that so-called crude men are able to make the same kinds and at the same level of the" more advanced" world. Aarestad, Tor, Bronislaw Malinowski.
