I' m in loving Maui. So if you are planing your journey to Maui, here is the full listing of things you should not miss! In Paia, also on the road to Hana, you will find the Ho'okipa bath. Visit Ho'okipa Strand in the early evening before sundown, and you will see huge honey (Hawaiian giant turtle ) rising from the oceans and creeping up to the shore.
When you visit Maui from November to March, you should definitely make a reservation for a guided visit. The whalewatching was unbelievable. When you leave, I suggest Pacific Lahaina to you. A nonprofit organization committed to the protection of sea dwellers' habitat, Pacific whales Eco Adventures has a great leader as a reward.
The whale watch was one of the best things we did in Maui. One more magic days of our journey in Maui..... the sea is simply fantastic. During our snorkeling excursion to Molokini we saw tens of colourful species (unfortunately this was before the purchase of a GoPro), among them eel - from which I have distanced myself!
The Molokini was nice, but the best part of the route was on the way back when the ship moored off the coast and we snorkelled with honey. Another great thing about our journey was that our dinner was already part of the package - and it was delicious. These have also been reserved through the Pacific Whale Foundation.
Snorkelling in Maui at Molokini Crater was one of the best things we did there. A 5-mile circular walk in West Maui takes you up the crest on a sharp ascent with stunning sea-view. Those who turn around on the way to Hana as soon as they arrive at Hana, and those who continue.
There' s loads of unbelievable stop points to make before you get to Hana - this is a great task and records some of the best stop points you can make on the way. To Hana one sees less and less automobiles.... until the street becomes in the reason taken a dirt track against the hill.
When you have passed along the cliffs, get out into no man's country, where you may not see another vehicle for several kilometres. It is a nice and less frequented part of Maui. Hints for the way to Hana: We' re at the Hyatt Regency on Ka'anapali Beach.
I' d say this is one of the best children's resort in Maui. When I was a child I was here and I still remember the water slide when we were planning our trip again when I was 26! Maui' s Hyatt Regency has become a permanent highlight of my youth and my adulthood.... I just wish I could come back every year!
Can you tell me what I missed on my Maui activities schedule? Allow yourself more on the way to Hana - maybe you will stay half the nights! We' re on a familiy outing, so we haven't had a chance to browse.... that won't be up for negotiation on my next one!
